Design Philosophy

Design should be modest, socially minded, sustainable, and truly transformative. It's a raw creative process where products are given value and beauty. We have an obligation to provide products which not only better our society but contribute to a sustainable environment for our shared future. Through careful observation, collaboration and listening, we synthesize collective ideas and energy to produce beautiful products. Perhaps it's the perfectly shaped door handle, which gently cradles your hand and welcomes you inside. It could be the inherent customization of an object which permits the user to tailor it to their needs. Great design is realized in those moments when interacting with the seemingly ordinary causes one to pause. This is the soul of design. This is what motivates us to not settle for good, but to strive for great. This is why I design.
